Back-Painted Glass Walls

Egan Back-Painted Glass Walls brings colour to architectural walls through project-specific glass panels. Specify a single colour across a full wall, match an interior palette or brand colour, or combine back-painted colour with different glass surfaces and printed treatments.

Panels are fabricated to suit the application, from reception areas and corridors to elevator interiors, feature walls and other interior wall surfaces.

Product Information

Description

+

Egan Back-Painted Glass can be specified around the needs of the project, including colour, glass type, surface finish, panel size, and fabrication. Designers can match a project palette or brand colour, choose clear, low-iron, or tinted glass, and select a gloss or matte/acid-etched finish.

Panels are made to suit the installation, with custom sizes, cutouts, edgework, and other fabrication available as required. Back-painted glass can also be combined with digital printing and safety glass configurations for full-height wall cladding, feature walls, elevator interiors, reception areas, corridors, and other interior applications.

Depending on the project, panels can be direct-applied as wall cladding, mounted on Z-clips, or integrated into demountable wall systems. Back-painted glass can also be used as a writable surface, with magnetic and non-magnetic options available.

Collaborative Design Process

+
1. Collaborative Design
Back-painted glass begins with the direction of the project, whether that is a specific colour, material palette, brand standard, or overall finish. Egan Design Lab works with you to translate that direction into the glass selection, surface finish, panel layout, and fabrication approach that best suits the application.

2. Quote
Once the glass configuration and panel requirements are established, Egan prepares pricing based on the selected materials, dimensions, and fabrication.

3. Production
The glass is fabricated to the approved requirements and produced using a factory-applied back-painted finish. Required edgework, holes, cutouts, and other fabrication can be incorporated as part of the project.

4. Delivery
Finished panels are prepared for delivery based on the project and installation requirements.
